Our focus is on supporting clients to remain comfortably and safely in their homes, and one avenue to help our older community maintain their independence is by accessing the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP).

 

Eligibility for the program is based on what support you need and your age. To be eligible, you must be aged:

• 65 years or older (50 years or older for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people), or

• 50 years or older (45 years or older for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people), on a low income and homeless, or at risk of being homeless.

 

We can help you do an aged care assessment which will determine your eligibility, including any specific services you may benefit from.
